Love Story

Love Story is an original production project where I handled the recording, production, mixing and mastering. The track was developed with a focus on emotional tone, clean arrangement choices and a polished final sound.

During the mix I focused on clarity, tonal balance, vocal/instrument placement and controlled dynamics, aiming for a finished result that translates well across headphones, speakers and streaming playback.

Vices and Tights

Vices and Tights is an original music project built around a strong visual and sonic identity. My work covered the core production, mix and final polish, shaping the track into a finished piece with impact and character.

The project gave me space to combine creative processing with technical mixing decisions, using EQ, dynamics, space and automation to create a more professional and engaging final track.

As It Was — Cover

This cover project involved recreating the energy and feel of the original song while giving the performance its own recorded and mixed identity. I worked across recording, editing, production and final mix decisions.

The focus was on tight arrangement, clear vocal/instrument balance and a polished modern sound without simply copying the original production.

Ceilings — Lizzy McAlpine Cover

Ceilings was approached as a delicate cover production, with attention placed on intimacy, space and emotional delivery. The mix needed to feel natural while still sounding clean and controlled.

I focused on performance editing, tonal shaping, ambience and dynamics to support the song’s softer character and keep the final sound polished without becoming overproduced.

This project focused on recreating the spirit and power of All Along the Watchtower while working through the technical process of recording, arranging, editing and mixing live musical elements.

EP Work

Catch — The Cave EP

I mixed and mastered Catch’s EP The Cave, working closely with the band through feedback, revisions and creative conversations. The process involved balancing the band’s notes with technical mix decisions to create a finished release that felt cohesive and release-ready.

Post-Production Sound

Student Short Film

Rat Trap

Rat Trap was a dialogue-heavy short film where I worked as Sound Supervisor. Production audio was captured using a Sound Devices 888 recorder, Sony UWP wireless systems and a Sennheiser MKH-416.

In post-production I used tools including iZotope RX and Waves Clarity to clean dialogue, reduce unwanted noise and repair difficult production audio. I also built atmosphere, added sound design and used mix automation to support the film’s tone and final presentation.

Colour

Colour was a student advert project where I created and shaped the audio to fit an existing visual. The focus was on building an effective sonic identity, using editing, sound design and mix decisions to make the advert feel more complete and professionally presented.

Creative Sound Design

Loop

Loop involved creating every element of the soundtrack from scratch. I used original foley recordings, manipulated synthesizers and live recordings to design an immersive audio experience that supported the visual world of the project.

The project focused heavily on creative audio problem-solving: designing movement, texture and atmosphere while keeping the final mix clean and controlled.
